Tree Planting at Hinstock

This weekend members of the club joined forces with Shropshire Wildlife Trust to plant trees at Hinstock, Shropshire.

Heavy rain didn’t stop the planting once we had mastered fitting rabbit guards properly!

The trees will form part of a new boundary hedge on the wetland habitat managed by the Trust at Old Church Farm, Hinstock. The Trust has done a huge amount of work so far restoring the site and making it accessible to the public.

The trees were part of a batch of four hundred trees provided to Market Drayton Rotary by the Woodland Trust following a successful bid. The rest of the trees will be placed in various public locations around Market Drayton including local schools.
