The members of the Rotary Club of Market Drayton are proud of their town, and set out to make our town a better place to live in. We frequently plant bulbs, so that every spring, there are fresh flowers along the roadsides and on our traffic islands. Not only do we plan blubs, but we also help the local council in keeping our town tidy. As a joint project with the council, we look to go out from time to time to assist in litter picking. This is simply picking up litter that others have dropped, or, litter that has blown into the town on the prevailing wind.
Co-ordination of the litter pick is done with the Market Drayton Town Council, and any member of the public wanting to get involved should make contact with them.
